JUNETEENTH RENAISSANCE

"Juneteenth is a landmark in history, a celebration of freedom and the end of slavery in America. Juneteenth Renaissance is dedicated to the celebration of the unique aesthetic expression of freedom through the arts, capturing the spiritual essence of a people whose lives continue to be the creative catalyst of the roots of America's artistic legacy. Juneteenth Renaissance is part of the "Modern Juneteenth Movement" that is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the music, dance, art, poetry, literature, etc., of the creative innovators and the economic, cultural and educational development of the historic community that produces America's most unique aesthetic expression of freedom for all the world to enjoy."
Rev. Ronald V. Myers, Sr., M.D.
